Title: For This One Night
Series: ToA
Length: 800 words
Theme: #3, "Similarity"
Character: Natalia (AschLuke/Natalia)

Yeah. I decided I didn't care if it was OOC or made canon sense or not. It's an idea I wanted to do. I left it a little ambiguous in the end, because I liked it better that way. And, well, it's not like anyone's going to read it anyway.

I feel taken for granted.

That was certainly depressing. -_____- So much so that I'm compelled to use a emoticon to express myself. I'm one of those people whose enjoyment of a story takes a hit when there's no happy ending. I do this even though in my mind I know a good does not lose anything by the lack of a happy ending; real life is not all happy endings, after all.

But my feeling has been that while a good story helps us relate, it does not necessarily have to REMIND us of real life. So I always have happy endings in my stories.

Well, I know you don't like Asch/Nat; you didn't read Shadow.

Weren't you the one saying I needed more conflict?

Happy endings all the time get kind of dull and repetitive. Once in a while I like to do something a little more twisted.

If you want a happy ending.... um, maybe sleeping with AschLuke gives Natalia some closure, and she can finally move on. Or maybe it really fucks her up.

The only reason I don't like Asch/Nat is because you didn't ask me to get on that ship, whereas you laid out the red carpet for me and offered free nights and discounts to get on the Guy/Nat ship.

I'm all for tragedy/bloodshed/trauma/war/massacre/evil en route to Happy Endings. In fact, it's the suffering in between that makes the Happy Ending good.

What about a twisted happy ending?

I think it fucks her up a lot. And Luke too.

I like Asch/Nat. As far as the canon pairings go, they're my favorite. I just prefer Guy/Nat because a)they'd be so gorgeous and blond together, and 2)they actually have a shot at a future.

Twisted happy endings? Well, I suppose some people are happy being completely dysfunctional. You only have to spend five seconds on the internet for proof of that.

Oh, it messes them both up, for sure. That's what I like about it.

Tear-Luke/Asch-Natalia threesome.

But then Guy would be all alone.

That's really the only solution, isn't it.

Not as long as I'm around.

I forgot about Noel (That's the girl's name, right?). They have that in common. Could be the start of something beautiful.

Noelle's a good second choice. Couple of machine geeks.
