So part of my trouble, for a change, was how to end the new chapter. I usually know the note I want to end on and work backwards, but this time, I had no idea where I was going.

I planned to use the Nat/Jo conversation here, but it still would have been an awkward place to leave it, not to mention the scene was coming out really stilted to begin with, and I don't want to have it yet. I really think it belongs in the following chapter after the briefing. I really think it fits better there, because they will already be in the same room.

So finally after weeks of stewing about this, I came up with something else, and I thought it might work.

Only now I'm wondering if it's too soon to bring the handkerchief back into play, which actually would kinda wrap that up for now. Because, really, it's still the same day in story-time. Would something that happened that morning really be resolved by the evening?

I don't know. I hate writing.

I hate writing.

I hear role playing helps rekindle the old passion, like it does for relationships.
