Three books in October, and three manga.

Ready Player One by Ernest Cline
The Woman Who Died A Lot by Jasper Fforde
Sorcery & Cecelia by Patricia C. Wrede and Caroline Stevermer

Otomen v12
Stepping on Roses (Hadashi de Bara wo Fume) v8
The Earl & The Fairy (Hakushaku to Yosei) v1

I already said, but I seriously loved Ready Player One. I'm getting the audiobook for my dad for Christmas.

It took me forever to get through the new Thursday Next book. He's losing me with all the Goliath stuff. I miss the BookWorld.

Sorcery & Cecelia was a random pickup from the used bookstore. It had an intriguing concept--an epistolary framework set in the Regency era, and, oh hey, there's magic, too? But it seemed really disjointed, and when I read the authors' notes that this was basically an RP that was turned into a book, the disjointedness made sense. Maybe not the best way to write a book.

And what is going on with my boy Komai? Dude, I love you, but stop dicking around. Sumi's got a plan. Get with it.

RP that was turned into a book

The book-sleeve for Tomoeda_drama would be fascinating.
