There's a difference between stuff you're willing to keep and stuff you're willing to move, especially when moving costs money.

Whenever we've cleaned out the house before for garage sales or taking stuff to the used bookstore, some stuff has made the cut to be kept.

Now, it's like everything must go.

But it's sad to see some of my old albums--which, granted, have been sitting in the garage these last 17 (!) years--go. Like, I've got Cyndi Lauper's She's so Unusual on vinyl. And it's going in the sell box.

Because I'll never play it. If I want it, there's digital downloads or I could get a CD. I'm never going to pull out a full-size LP. D's got a turntable, but it's also been sitting in the garage all this time, and who knows if it ever works.

Going through all this old stuff and making once-and-for-all decisions about it..... it's hard!
