well, they are!
I've got 470 words of my next drabble, and have two problems.

a. Drabbling it seems too short and flaky, like it's not enough to do proper respect to her emotional state. "My fiance's dead and I'm sad... no wait, I'm okay now, hugs from Guy are magic."

2. I can't figure out how to end it.

So it might go a touch over 500, which I don't want to do, but cutting out any more really cheapens what she's feeling. Dammit, this is harder than I thought it would be.

Heh, poor you, I keep dragging people into this series who don't really like it much. cal_reflector hates it but indulges my Guy/Nat obsession.

They're just so pretty together:

i always have the problem of not knowing how to end stuff.

Good, it's not just me. Then sometimes I have the opposite problem--I'll come up with an ending, but by the time I write the beginning, the ending doesn't really fit it anymore.

they would have such good looking kids....i think. it could end up horribly if they have unattractive traits dormant in their dna coding. but yes! i always have that issue as well. or, i come up with just the summary or something, and i don't feel like writing the rest of the story. yeah, writer!fail.

I've become a big fan of the snippet. That way I can write the joke I want without having to draft a whole fic around it. It's lazy, but otherwise a good line just goes to waste.

You're doing better than I am, I haven't even had a chance to write at all. :(

Plenty of time left!

Lately I get my ideas when I'm working out. I guess to keep my mind focused on something other than how much I hate working out.
