we had faces!

I was reading an article about how movie ticket sales are down from last year, and why could that be, is it because of the recession and tickets are too expensive and it's easier to wait for DVD?

Sometimes the answer is simply that MOVIES AREN'T ANY GOOD.

D and I are the perfect movie goers. We have no kids and no debt, so we have plenty of disposable income for things like movies. We like going to movies. And this year we've hardly been to any because there wasn't anything we wanted to see. I think the last thing we saw was Due Date and it was okay, but if D hadn't wanted to go, I probably wouldn't have chosen it on my own.

SO MAKE BETTER MOVIES, DAMMIT.

And part of the problem is even though we live in the largest city in our state, we don't get many of the smaller independent/foreign films unless it's the week of the Oscars. Our one little art house cinema closed a few years ago, and I've been depressed ever since. Yeah, sometimes I was the only one there, but I did my best to go see anything unusual or subtitled just to support the place. It wasn't enough.

Anyway, I need to write today but I'm exhausted. I was up until three last night. Could not sleep. Maybe coffee will help.

Why is my font all weird?
