why write when I can read
Four books in October, plus two manga/comics (and two Archie digests, but I don't count those, because that'd be like counting magazines. If I counted magazines, my reading total would be tripled.)

The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern
Wicked Becomes You by Meredith Duran
Crave by Cathy Yardley
The Temptation of the Night Jasmine by Lauren Willig

K-ON! v3
Archie: The Married Life book 1

Yes, there is Betty/Reggie! And it's funny how the writer editorialized about how "Betty or Veronica?" is the eternal question, because really I think we should be asking why either of them should choose Archie!

The Jughead/Midge freaked me out. It was so random.

The Night Circus was really good, if anyone hasn't checked it out yet. I was surprised to hear it started as a NaNo. (I don't mean that in a bad way, like, "Ew, NaNo!" Just that I didn't know and bought it on a whim at Target one day.) Although that's double-edged: a published NaNo can give hope to the good writers, but it can also feed the delusions of the bad ones. Fortunately I'm a bad one with no delusions.

And I think I'm done with romance novels for a while, at least the ones rec'd on one of my other forums. They just aren't doing it for me.
