Looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what you'd predicted?

Less. I hate that I stalled on my big project. But I did join the drabblethon, which was fun, and I'm looking forward to the next one in January. Still, though, less, because I really meant to keep up with HF.

What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in January 2010?

For someone who's loved Archie since pretty much birth, I can't believe I'd never witten anything for that. That I can remember, anyway. And my little Community piece! That freaked me out because I am just not clever enough to write for Community, but I think it turned out okay.

What's your favorite story of the year? Not the most popular, but the one that makes you happiest?

So I kind of do like Pyrotechnics for Beginners. And for some reason, Danger View makes me happy, too, and makes me want to write a follow-up, even though it itself was kind of a follow-up to FLSC.

Did you take any writing risks this year? (See above for unexpected pairings, etc.) What did you learn from them?

Well, I don't suppose so. It was fun to branch out into a couple of other series, but I wouldn't really call that a risk. I'd like to do more for the next drabblethon. I tend to get stuck in ruts (look at all that Guy/Nat, not that there's anything wrong with that).

Do you have any fanfic goals for the New Year?

To keep going on HF. I said that last year, but I seriously need to get the next chapter in shape. It's about 60% done.

Most Fun:

Danger View. I'm totally going to do more Rei/Sana this year, I think, even if it's all tangentially related to FLSC.

Most Disappointing:

I had two other Community things that I just couldn't make work. One was "Economics of Erotica" that had Annie working at Dildopolis and would have kind of rounded out an official trilogy with Lingerie and IKIWISI. Then there was "Social Justice for Non-Majors" which was going to be a Britta fic, but the joke is right there in the title and it just seemed too one-note to try to make into something.

Most Sexy and Best Sexy Moment:

Late Night was my only porn this year, but I think it turned out all right. I think Danger View had the potential to go there but stopped before the good part. Maybe it needs a porn follow-up.

Hardest to Write:

Same as every year. Almost everything. Writing is hard.

Most Unintentionally Telling:

I know this technically not what this "question" is asking, but I wonder if anyone would notice that Three Gold Rings is supposed to be future!Shadowsverse. Everyone always asks how it was going to end, and the answer is in there.
