PASADENA, Calif. (AP) — After acknowledging that NBC had a "really bad fall," the network's entertainment chief moved swiftly Friday to assure viewers that "Community" and "Law & Order: SVU" aren't leaving.
Although the Thursday night comedy "Community" was taken off the midseason schedule, entertainment president Bob Greenblatt said that he wanted to "dispel any notion that it is quietly disappearing." He didn't say, however, when it would be back.
It's funny that NBC's had such a bad fall, because D and I felt this year had the strongest crop of new shows in a long time (though I don't know if we're watching anything new on NBC...). Last year we picked up zero new shows. This year we've picked up several. It's like they finally realized there are other ideas besides the millionth cop/doctor/lawyer show.
But Community is still my favorite, so yeah, get it back on!!
What We're Watching:
How I Met Your Mother
2 Broke Girls
The Big Bang Theory
Once Upon a Time
And I'm only half-heartedly watching Hart of Dixie (pardon the pun). It's terrible, but it's something to watch online if I'm bored.
