Poor D.

Today's the first day of his last semester. My kid will be graduating this winter (they grow up so fast!).

Well, at orientation this morning, he found out that the teacher he was assigned for his internship was promoted to administration over the summer, so the coordinator is scrambling to find him another placing.

He's freaking out, because everything was set. He got the class he wanted at the school he wanted (it's literally five minutes from here and one of the best in the state), and now he doesn't know where he's going to end up.

I told him not to worry because there's nothing he can do about it but wait, but, waiting is always the suck. And someone as hyperly OCD Type A as he is, having something like this out of his control is pure torture.

So let's hope it gets sorted out soon and he doesn't end up at a school an hour away like one of his buddies.
