When D and I watch a show, especially one with a good ensemble, we try to figure out which characters can be used as a composite to reflect our personalities.

With Community, I've thought I'm about 40% Shirley, 30% Abed, 20% Annie, and 10% Jeff.

After last night's episode, I might have to up the Jeff percentage. Except I can't fathom any circumstance in which I'd be willing to seek out my father. Sorry, Britta.

It has been nice to see some Jeff/Britta friendship this year. I hope we get some more Jeff/Shirley, too.

I think I'm probably 40% Pierce, 30% Abed, 20% Jeff, 10% Britta.

The 10% of Britta would be the psycho-analyzing part. And I may actually be more that 40% Pierce. I'm kind of a dick and no one wants to hang out with me and yet all I want is to be a part of the group and yet, I really can't stop myself from being a dick to people. Yerp.

Pierce is a really interesting character, though. It would feel weird to say I "like" Pierce, but I enjoy his character. Even dickish, he has moments where he's really sympathetic. His friendship with Shirley is nice, too. I think we all have a little bit of Pierce in us. (And yes, I know that's a set-up line if ever there was one....)
