James is made "king" for the day while his parents are away.
A JAMES EPISODE!
Thank goodness they're finally acknowledging he's the crown prince and stuff.
This bothered me immensely in the "Holiday in Enchancia" episode, when they thought Roland was lost in the snowstorm and the entire family went out to look for him. I mean, sorry, I know I take this show too damn seriously, but if God forbid Roland was dead, then James would have been the king. You don't take the heir to the throne out in a snowstorm looking for his missing-possibly-dead father.
It'll be nice to see if James can realize the gravitas of this, since he's been kinda young Simba-like about the whole thing. He said he wanted to be a knight, but, kid, your destiny is set. You don't get to choose, son.
It also bothers me, in a taking-it-too-damn-seriously way, that Royal Prep isn't actually teaching these kids the things they'll need to know to rule their own kingdoms someday.
Oh, and on the 27th is also the premiere of Girl Meets World, which I'm at the top of the age range to be excited about this. D says he'll watch it with me despite not knowing the "mythos", because he loves him some Danielle Fishel. She was adorable and funny on The Dish, and for a while, that show was way superior to The Soup.
