Back in February when D had his surgery, since we had to pay out-of-pocket, we paid upfront with our Amex. Later, our insurance negotiated a lower fee, so the surgery center actually owed us a refund of about $400. A check finally arrived on Monday.

Yesterday it was spent at Costco on my new laptop. So much for actually getting ahead this year.

But it's sleek and shiny and best of all, has Windows 7. I named him Haru, because I ONLY WINDOWS 7.
