I said I could and I can
Well, we still haven't gotten caught up on our network shows because we had to have our cable box replaced--the on demand wasn't working. Now, though, we're getting channels we didn't get before and, as far as I know, aren't paying for. Um, oops? Maybe HBO is having one of those free trial weeks and I just didn't notice. I do remember back when we first got our box, we got a free week or two.

But I think we're caught up on our first two weeks of anime. Of course we're both excited to have Log Horizon back. D's disappointed that they didn't get a new theme, but come on, "Database" is awesome. It gets you bouncing in your seat and ready for action like the Buffy theme did. I miss what we call the "kebab dance" though. I still do it.

And so far, Amagi Brilliant Park is D's new favorite, because he's just that predictable, and Akatsuki no Yona is mine, because I'm just that predictable. Archer princesses are win.

Donten ni Warau is the one that's surprised me the most so far, in that when I saw the preview, my response was, "I don't know, but their eyes are freaking me out". The humor and relationship between the brothers will keep me onboard. Ookami Shoujo to Kuro Ouji should bug me for the same reasons that Nozaki-kun did, and yet it doesn't. What else.... both Madan no Ou to Vanadis (an archer boy!) and Ushinawareta Mirai wo Motomete (Airi won me right away) seem pretty good so far, or at least interesting enough to see where they're going. Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso and Girlfriend Beta have only had one episode, I think, so I don't really have opinions of them yet.

Is that everything on our list? Oh, and Sanzoku no Musume Ronja just went up, so we'll probably watch that tomorrow.

Starting Next year HBO will join Hulu (and Crunchyroll) and offer to distribute their content through internet only. It's success will depend on cost; Hulu is free with ads, last I checked, and Crunchyroll was less than $10 per month.

Let me know how Ushinawareta Mirai wo Motomete is. Try Kiseijuu. It's not about cute girls or handsome guys.

I don't actually want HBO. I was just surprised to see it wasn't blocked when they replaced our box.

Haven't watched the third episode yet, but it's not bad.
