You know, I didn't really follow the development of DA:Inquisition enough, or else I would have realized there was no reason to get it for XBox.

I naively assumed that I'd be able to import my old saves to carry over my choices, but if you want a custom world, you have to go on their website and create it, then log in with an Origin account (and also an XBox Live account) in order to paste it into your character.

It took forever, plus I played both Origins and DAII three times, and basically took what D called my "definitive version" of events to be my carryover canon. But some of the choices they ask about, like "Did you meet so-and-so random NPC", and... I don't remember! I stuck with the biggies, like my female noble Warden romanced Alistair and he died to slay the Archdemon, and my Hawke was a mage who sided with the Templars and killed Fucking Anders and all that. I guess I got close enough.

I already had an EA Origin account because of Sims, but I never had an XBox Live account because anything we downloaded we did through D's account, and I don't play anything online. I don't like this trend of having to have an account for every single thing and having to be online all the time. I just want to play my damn game.

And Jesus Jones is the font they use tiny. I know I'm old, but come on! Embiggen it!

Yesterday I had to go to the doctor and this morning we had a service appointment about getting a quote to replace our water heater, so this afternoon was really the first chance I had to play. Heck, this is the first time I turned on my computer since Sunday.

I need to not get too addicted. I have a lot of writing I'm supposed to be doing. I really, really need to get the next chapter of HF up before the end of the year. And what happened to my Shark porn?

And I've been reading the same book all month, just cannot get it finished. It's not that it's bad, just not what I thought it was going to be.
