Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru. Zoku
Shokugeki no Soma
Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka
Nagato Yuki-chan no Shoushitsu
I liked seeing beneath Hayato's golden boy sheen in Oregairu. He's always been my favorite, obviously. And I expected Soma to hit all my squick buttons like that other cooking show did (it's really hard to make animated food look appealing, especially when so many dishes are eggs, yuck), but even with all the fanservice, I've been enjoying it.
I don't know what I'm going to do without Free! this summer. Don't know how to feel about the movie yet. Be careful what you ask for--always be specific.
Oh, and so books, too, while I have a moment. I've only been averaging two books a month, which isn't bad, but isn't good, either. So for April, May, and June we had six books and one manga:
Travis & Freddy's Adventures in Vegas by Henry Johnson and Paul Hoppe
The Actor and the Housewife by Shannon Hale
From Notting Hill with Love... Actually by Ali McNamara
The One by Kiera Cass
The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry by Gabrielle Zevin
The Importance of Being Married by Gemma Townley
Ai Ore! v1
Of these, I'd say Fikry was the best. I think it was rec'd over on Snarkfest, maybe? I usually get the best recs from there, as a person who never likes anything recommended. And Target had a $2 coupon, so score. I didn't realize the author had written Conversations with Other Women which is one of those great movies no one I know has seen, and I'm probably the only person in the world with an icon from it. I need to watch it again.
I think I'm done with the Selection series. I guess it's continuing with their daughter or something? But I don't really care about that enough to keep going.
